Hal Lindes

Hal Lindes is an American musician, best known as the guitarist for the rock band Dire Straits during the 1980s. Born on December 5, 1953, in Los Angeles, California, Lindes joined Dire Straits in 1980, contributing to their acclaimed album "Making Movies," which features the hit single "Romeo and Juliet." His guitar work on this album showcased a blend of rock, jazz, and folk influences, enhancing the band's sound. Lindes also played on the subsequent albums "Love Over Gold" (1982) and "Alchemy: Dire Straits Live" (1984).
